The zoo trip.

The week before  we went to the  Auckland zoo. We found  facts  about  the animals. There were two zoo keepers who told us about the kiwis. Kiwis come out at night time. Kiwis eggs are big and heavy. I also saw some birds and other animals. I had lots of fun. My favourite animals in the zoo was red panda. I learned that we have to keep our environment safe to protect our animals.

Last week we went to Tirtiri Matangi to look at endangered animals. We had to come  to school very early at 7.30 in the morning. We catch the bus to the ferry to go to Tirtiri Matangi. On the ferry we had a ilttle cafe. We went to pick up people from the gold harbour. then we got to Tiriri Matangi  the  workers helped us. The workers on Tirtiri Matangi told us some instructions. On the island there thew tracks for walking. On the island i saw different types for birds. my favourite bird is the robin. I learn than there no pest on the island. I had a awesome time.
